The article consists of the excerpts from the book by N.A. Voznesenskiy “The military economy of the USSR during the Patriotic War”, under whose leadership during the Great Patriotic War military and economic plans were developed and the powerful industrial base, that played a huge role in supplying military equipment to the theatre of war, was created in the East of the country. Nikolai Alekseevich was personally responsible for providing the Red Army with weapons and ammunition; he was a member of the Committee for the restoration of the national economy in the areas liberated from Nazi invaders.

70 years after the end of World War II there is ongoing debate on the exact role of lendlease in the victory of the USSR, moreover, many Russian and foreign authors use the story for the most unseemly purposes, trying to downplay the feat of the Soviet people, to devalue its victims unprecedented in human history. To confront counterfeiters, turning conscientious qualified research and publishing their results, is an important task for our historians and economists. The author of this article reviewed and analyzed many documents on this issue, and perhaps the analysis will shed more light on an important side of the Great Patriotic War.

Lend-lease, according to E.M. Primakov, is a unique project of the XX century. It was implemented by the states with different socio-political structures, different ideology and way of life, with a unique style of thinking of their leaders. But they were united by the main goal - the destruction of Nazi fascism once and for all. The author analyzes the events and circumstances surrounding the implementation of contracts under lendlease, as well as comments on the book by N.I. Ryzhkov «The Great Patriotic War: the battle of the economies and the weapons of Victory».

The article deals with the contribution of the Russian Orthodox Church to the victory in the Great Patriotic War and with the patriotic position of the hierarchy of the ROC, shown in the declarations and appeals to the congregation from the beginning of the war. The author describes the attitude of the Orthodox to the Nazis in the occupied territory and the complexity of the phenomenon of the Pskov Orthodox mission. The article reveals the theme of the Church-state relations during the war: the curtailing of the persecution of the Church, the legalization of Church administration, a partial revival of the Church life under strict government control.

Soviet culture of that time was plethoric and rich: imaganative literature was published in huge numbers (including children), masterpieces of popular songs and classical music were created, documentaries and feature films were released, stage didn't cease and so on. The best poets and writers created, snitzy actors and musicians took part in the front-line teams, thousands of journalists and photographers came voluntarily in the front-line newspapers. It didn't happen in the world history.

The article is devoted to the stability of the government and representation of political forces in Parliament. The author considers the approaches, that provide the opportunities to formalize the dependence of the compliance of party and electoral systems on the basis of the level of institutionalization of the electoral process, analyses «the index of effective number of parties» as a tool, designed to solve the problem of balance between representation and effectiveness of elected bodies and their dependence on electoral mechanisms.

The article is devoted to the unconscious components of representation of political values in the mass consciousness of citizens and their consistency with the conscious components. The author considers the values at the subconscious level , the «traditionally materialistic» cluster, in which they are united in the mass consciousness, the attitude to the values at the subconscious level and the connectivity of the considered components of representation of political values with the behavioral attitudes and political behaviour.

In recent years the legal status of the state scientific centers has undergone significant changes; it does not meet the value of the centers in the public sector of research and needs to be reviewed. In this article based on the analysis of the existing legal framework, comparative analysis of the legal status of SRC and other centers with fixed state status and records of SRC promising instruments of state support of the SSC are identified.

The author considers the activity of the Altai provincial economic meeting in the 1920s in some places, which was occupied by the questions of development of agriculture in the conditions of the NEP. Special attention is paid to the problem of the need to design the form of collective farming.
