Is a social ideal possible: W. Rauschenbusch and R. Niebuhr
Abstract
The article is devoted to the controversy between the representatives of social evangelism and "Christian realism" about the possibility of achieving social ideal. The author presents the main ideas of the most prominent representatives of these sects, indicates their contribution to the development of Western Christian social thought.
