В современном мире интеграция превратилась в подлинно общемировой политико-экономический феномен, в научном плане представляя собой метатеоретический конструкт со сложной типологией составляющих его разновидностей и более частных проявлений. Тренд на регионализацию, демонстрировавший взрывной рост в первое постбиполярное десятилетие, позволил малым и средним государствам укрепить свою позицию в диалоге с крупными, сгладить перепады в темпах роста и уровне качества жизни, а также внести самостоятельный вклад в урегулирование ряда тяжелых международных конфликтов, прежде всего в Латинской Америке и Юго-Восточной Азии. В данной статье предлагается теоретико-методологическая схема сравнительного изучения и оценки казусов региональной экономической интеграции как политического явления, то есть имеющего последствия для распределения силы и влияния в межгосударственных взаимодействиях. Автор прослеживает особенности и эволюцию подходов в теории интеграции: от трактовки «федерализма» применительно к идеологическому обрамлению интеграции, как её понимали сторонники движения «Панъевропа», до современных научных взглядов в науке о международных отношениях и в рамках формирующейся субдисциплины «Сравнительная интеграция».

Nowadays integration could be considered as worldwide-political phenomenon with its multielement structure. The growing integratedness allows the little and medium states to build a constructive conversation with important players, equalize the growth rates, life quality as well as to contribute to settlement of international conflicts. This article deals with the theory and methodology of Economic Integration in Europe. The author investigates the roots of integration processes in after-war period in Europe. With establishment of European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) in 1951 the integration became a key element of international policy. The author revises the evolution of the Integration theory from implementing of “federalism” term till development of comparative integration area in international relations science. The author used original foreign and Russian sources for preparing the current article.
