Роль Сибири всегда оценивалась преимущественно по ее вкладу в государственную казну, который обеспечивался минерально-сырьевым сектором сибирской экономики. Такой подход в XX в. только укрепился в результате реализации в регионе транспортно-энергетических суперпроектов, позволиливших создать материальную базу для формирования территориально-производственных комплексов. Значимость этих проектов сохранится и в XXI в. Анализ современного состояния инфраструктуры, промышленного производства, сельского хозяйства, инновационных разработок, экологии, демографии, качества жизни населения уникального края позволил автору выделить различные направления, обеспечивающие диверсификацию производства в регионе, и обосновать миссию Сибири как края стратегического территориального резерва России.
The role of Siberia is always evaluated by its contribution to the state treasury that is provided by the raw material industry of the Siberian economy. The given approach was only strengthened in the XX century as a result of execution of regional transport and energy superprojects that allow creating a material basis for the formation of clusters. The significance of these projects will be preserved in the XXI century. Analysis of the present state of infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, innovative engineering, ecology, demography, living standards of the unique region allowed the author to identify different courses for the diversification of production in the region and to justify the idea of the Siberia development as a region’s arrangement of the Russia’s strategic territorial.
